Skilled Nursing Services:
Nursing care is health care given when a person needs skilled nursing staff (registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN)) to manage, observe, and evaluate care. Skilled nursing care requires the involvement of skilled nursing staff in order to be given safely and effectively. Our services include:
Diabetic care and education;
Orthopedic post-operative care;
Neurologic disorders management;
Cardiac care and teaching;
Pulmonary care and education (including ventilator and tracheostomy care);
Colostomy teaching and management;
Medication management and education;
Wound care management.
The purpose of rehabilitation is to restore some or all of the patient’s physical, sensory, and mental capabilities that were lost due to injury, illness, or disease. Below are some of the rehabilitative services we provide:
Home Health Assistants:
Assist Nursing Agency offers quality, cost-effective and caring home health services to patients and families in the communities of Florida. Nurses, Home Health Aides and Companions work closely with patients, their families, and physicians to ensure personalized care in various aspects of daily living.
From as little as 4 hours per visit to as much as 24 hours per day, Assist Nursing Agency caregivers can be scheduled any time you need them, day or night. Services can be intermittent or every day, whichever your situation may require.
A Caregiver can stay with you 24 hours per day to assist with all activities of daily living. While not on duty at night, you will have a sense of security knowing someone is there, just in case.
Personal Care Visit
Typically about an hour in length, a Visit is usually for the express purpose of providing Personal Care. Alternatively, during this time, a Caregiver may prepare meal, supervise medication, or simply “check in” on your well being. Visits can be scheduled intermittently, daily, or several times per day.
Duties include: Laundry & Linen Changes, Shopping & Errands, Driving to Appointments, Wheelchair Transfers, Medication Reminders, Incontinent Care, Bathing & Dressing, Personal Grooming, Bathroom Assistance, Activities of Daily Living (ADL), Custodial Care, Meal Preparation, Light Housekeeping, Doctor Visits, Joyful Companionship, Respite for Family Caregivers.
